Google Street View Project in India Rejected by Home Ministry

Google's Street View plan to monitor India's big cities, important tourist destinations, mountains and rivers will no longer be complete. The government of India has denied it in terms of security. The notice to reject the plan has been given to Google by the Home Ministry. This information was given by the Home Ministry in the Lok Sabha today in his written reply.
According to information from sources from the Home Ministry, security agencies were worried about Google's Street View plan. It was argued that under this scheme, making the streets available on the internet could prove dangerous for the country. The agencies also informed in the meeting that this method was used in the Mumbai terror attack.
