The Rs 5 Crore Museum with the most modern amenities was presented by the Chief Minister Tamil Nadu Mr. K. Palaniswami at the Agricultural University of Tamil Nadu. The museum created on an area of 6691 square meters and it is completely dedicated to insects. It is the first museum of its kind in the country. It will display insects that have survived as samples, as well as living images depicting their different stages of development, models of their unique behavior, and habitats.
