In Saudi Arabia, After 60 Years, Women Got Freedom of Driving

In Saudi Arabia, women have been permitted to officially drive on the roads since today. At the same time, Saudi Arabia has become the last country in the world to remove the restrictions on women driving. Let us know that Saudi Arabia was the only country in the world where women could not drive.

This is a historic day in the history of this country because for more than 60 years women used to sit in the passenger seat i.e. they could not drive themselves. With the withdrawal of the ban on the carriage, 1.51 crore women in the Gulf country will be able to take the car for the first time on the roads.

In September 2017, Saudi Arabia announced the removal of the ban on women driving. This verdict is part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Vision 2030 program so that the economy can be opened by separating oil from Saudi society. He told the implementation of this order till June 2018.
