State Bank of India (SBI) managing director Balasubramanyam Sriram has been appointed the managing director and chief executive officer of IDBI Bank for a period of three months. The M K Jain, currently MD and CEO of the bank.
M K Jain is likely to take charge from Friday. Jain was appointed as DG on June 4. Mahesh Kumar Jain was recently made the Deputy Governor of RBI. Sriram currently manages SBI's corporate banking division, which has a loan book exceeding ₹10 lakh crore.
