Ten new iconic sites were considered under Phase III of Swachh Iconic Places (SIP) flagship mission Swachh Bharat. The project, envisaged by the Prime Minister, is coordinated by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation with the support of state and local governments.
A consultation is being held to complete the preparation of power units/corporations to expand support for new sites as CSR partners. These new sites have joined the 20 iconic places under Phase I & II.
10 New Iconic Sites are:
- Raghavendra Swamy Temple (Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh)
- Kanvashram (Uttarakhand).
- Brahma Sarovar Temple (Kurukshetra, Haryana)
- Mana village (Chamoli, Uttarakhand)
- Pangong Lake (Leh-Ladakh, J&K)
- ImaKeithal/market (Imphal, Manipur)
- Sabarimala Temple (Kerala)
- Vidur Kuti (Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh)
- Hazarduari Palace (Murshidabad, West Bengal)
- Nag Vasuki Temple (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh)
