1. Shri S.N. Agrawal has taken over as Member Staff, Railway Board and Ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India. Prior to this, Shri Agrawal was General Manager of South Eastern Railway, Kolkata.
2. A 16-year-old Indian Badminton Player; Lakshaya Sen wins the gold medal after defeating Kunlavut Vitidsaran in Badminton Asia Junior Championship 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
3. India won 8 medals (2-gold, 3-silver, 3-bronze) in Junior Asian Wrestling Championship in New Delhi, India. Indian Wrestler Sachin Rathi and Deepak Punia win the Gold medal in 74/ 86 Kg category.
4. Today, Federal Bank has received the regulatory RBI Nod to open new branches/ offices in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore.
5. Following the successful conduct of the Khelo India School Games, Sports Authority of India took another significant step towards the development of sports earlier today, cleared 734 players for a scholarship programme under Khelo India Talent Identification Development scheme.
6. The master planning of two nodes of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) is underway namely;
- Visakhapatnam, and
- Yerpedu-Srikalahasti.
