For the transportation of goods worth more than 50 thousand rupees from January 15, the system of E-way bill on Bihar, including whole nation, has been implemented from 1st February. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that the e-way bill in the country will now be mandatory for the movement of goods from February 1. Under the new arrangement, now the e-way bill will be required for interstate transport of goods worth more than 50 thousand rupees and for transport of goods worth more than 2 lakhs under the state.
Having launched the new system in the main secretarial hall located in Patna, Sushil Modi said that now there is no need for a separate transit passage for the carriage of goods in different states.
