1. Today, Uday Kumar Varma elected as a new Secretary General of ASSOCHAM. He is a Former Information and Broadcasting Secretary, and Former IAF Officer (1976 batch) from the Madhya Pradesh state.

2. Russia SCO Peace Mission 2018:- The three-nation defense forces
(i) India:- 200 personnel
(ii) Russia:- 1,700 personnel, and
(iii) China:- 700 personnel. works together under the Shanghai Co-operation Organization (SCO) Peace Mission at Chebarkul, Russia. The SCO Peace Mission Exercise is one of the major defense cooperation initiatives amongst SCO nations and will be a landmark event in the history of SCO defense cooperation.

Naini-Doon Janshatabdi Express:- Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways & Coal, flagged off 12091/12092 Kathgodam-Dehradun Naini-Doon Janshatabdi Express (5 Days A Week) today through video conferencing from Rail Bhavan. Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board, Shri Girish Pillai, Member Traffic, Railway Board & other senior officers were present during the occasion. This new train will provide additional service between Kathgodam and Dehradun.
