In New Delhi, the World Logistics Summit was held. It was organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as FICCI and the World Bank Group. The Summit serves as a platform for discussions with global experts, academics, government officials and representatives of the private sector and industry. According to the Minister of Trade and Industry and Civil Aviation of the Union Suresh Prabhu, 56 new airports will be ready for operation in the coming years.
