The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued a new form of income tax return for the assessment year 2018-19. In the new form, salaried taxpayers will have to give different details of the salary as well as the traders will have to tell the GST number and turnover.
CBDT says that some places have been made rational in the new form, although no change has been made in filing ITR compared to last year. The Board says that all seven ITRs have to be digitally submitted except for certain category taxpayers.
