Papua New Guinea: 31 Killed in Earthquake and More than 300 Injured


In the Pacific region, in Papua New Guinea in the country, on Monday, 31 people were killed in an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 points on the Richter scale. More than 300 injured. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake was about 90 kilometers south of the port city of Anga. Many aftershocks were also felt after the earthquake. The administration has laid down security forces and rescue teams. This earthquake have affected at least 4 lakh people.
