NDPP Chief Neiphiu Rio Has Won Before Voting Begins


Voting started for the Nagaland assembly elections. Today, 59 out of 60 seats are being cast. A candidate has won the election without contesting the election. The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) chief, Nefieu Rio, who won the election before the election began. He has been declared unopposed from the Northern Angami-II constituency seat. Recently, he resigned from the membership of the Lok Sabha. Polls are still going on in Nagaland. Voters are reaching the polling station. The voting starts from seven o'clock in the morning, till four o'clock in the evening.
