- Kerala state Health Minister K. K. Shailaja, popularly name Shailaja Teacher has launched the Kerala Cartoon Academy’s 'Break the Chain' campaign. In this campaign, well-known cartoonists have participated in the event from across the country.
- These cartoonists painted cartoons on walls to spread awareness amongst people about the campaign. The theme for the Campaign is 'SMS', which means- Wash hands using soap or sanitizer, wear masks, and keep social distancing. In the first phase of this campaign, Around 14 cities of 14 districts of Kerala state are selected to complete cartoon drawings.
