Online applications are invited from bonafide citizens of India for the selection of candidates for the under-mentioned posts. 164 (UR-35, SC-28 & ST-101) permanent posts of Junior Medical Officer/ General Duty Medical Officer, Grade-IV of THS, Group-A Gazetted under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.
Required Qualification & Experience
- A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of internship and permanent Registration Certificate of any State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
Selection Procedure
- As per service mile, the Recruitment process will comprise of 02 steps
i) Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of API calculation (Academic Performance Index)) 100 marks) & 10 marks for the candidates who have performed the duty of Covid-19 positive patients In the different health Institutions of the Govt. of Tripura.
ii) Interview process (05 marks). - On the basis of total API scoring, Including 10 marks for duty of Covid-19 positive patient, a limited no. of candidates, maximum of 3 (three) times of total vacant posts (category wise), will be selected merit-wise for interview.
- It Is also mentioned here that candidate(s) scoring marks equal to that of the last qualified candidate in the API scoring shall also be called for interview.
- The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in the API calculation (out of 110) and by adding the marks obtained in the Interview/ Personality Task.
