SSC has announced recruitment notification for the post of Stenographer, eligible candidates can submit their application before 18-10-2019.
SSC Recruitment 2019 - The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade-C (Group-B, NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade-D (Group-C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Only those candidates who have the required skills in stenography are eligible to apply.
Application Fee
- Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only)
- Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.
Selection ProcedureSelection Process will be based on the Computer Based Test and Skill Test in Stenography.
a) Computer-Based Examination:- Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the question.
b) Skill Test:- The Candidates who are shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination for the next stage will have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography. The candidates 13 will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the online Application Form) at the speed of 100 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade-C and 80 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade-D.
