Southern Railway Recruitment 2019 - Southern Railway, Chennai has released Job notification for dynamic, self-motivated and energetic young qualified candidates for the 142 Posts of Junior Engineer/P.Way (JE/P.Way) and Junior Engineer/Track Machine Organization (JE/TMO) against General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) Quota.

Southern Railway hires candidates who completed Diploma or those Candidates who are seeking Ongoing Railway Recruitment can use this opportunity. Interested candidates are requested to apply for the position on or before the last date 6th June 2019.

Educational Qualification

JE/P.Way	(a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
JE/TMO	Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. OR (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Mechanical/Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Selection Procedure
The GDCE will consist of Written Examination, Verification of certificates and Medical Examination. The standard of the Written Examination under GDCE shall be that of the Written Examination prescribed for Direct Recruitment.
