NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2019. National Institute of Technology Meghalaya invites online applications in the prescribed format from Indian Nationals and OCIs possessing consistently good academic record and requisite qualifications and experience for the posts of Faculty (Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors) in various Departments of the Institute.

Vacancy Details

Name of the Posts	Qualification
Professor	Ph. D and Ten years after Ph.D. or thirteen years total working experience, out of which seven years should be after Ph.D. At least three years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP of 9,500 or four years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP 9,000.
Associate Professor	Ph. D and Six years after Ph.D. of which at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP Rs. 8,000
Asst. Professor (Grade-I)	Ph. D and Three years after Ph.D. or six years of total teaching and research experience
Asst. Professor (Grade-II)	Ph. D

Application Fee

General/ OBC Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only), SC/ST candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) through online mode only; while PWD candidates are completely exempted from paying the application fee.
