For Interns:
1. Civil: Pursuing B.Tech/ M.Tech/Ph. D in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
2. Electronics and Telecommunication/ Computer Science and IT: Pursuing B.Tech/ M.Tech/Ph. D in Electronics & Communication or M.Sc./ MCA/ Ph. D in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
3. Electrical: Pursuing B.Tech/ M.Tech/Ph. D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
4. Public Relations: Pursuing Master’s Degree/ P G Diploma/Ph. D in Public Relations or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
5. General: Pursuing B.Tech/ M.Tech/Ph. D in Food Technology /Agriculture Engineering / BioTechnology / Dairy Technology/ Chemical/ Petro-Chemical/ Environment/ Leather/Textile Engineering &Fibre Science/Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics & Telecommunications/ Computer/Civil/Architecture & Planning/Transport/Mechanical/Production & Industrial/ Automobile/ Mining/Bio-medical/Metallurgical Or

Experience: Minimum of one year of work experience relevant to the job description. The broad work experience shall be based on the functional areas of BIS. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field supported by published work/ policy papers/ appraisal/ monitoring of projects & programmes etc.
