1. An open Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted under the aegis of Headquarter Recruiting Zone, Chennai by Army Recruiting Office, Vizag on 20 Nov 2018 at Netaji Stadium, Port Blair to enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from all district of Andaman & Nicobar Gp of Islands in Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation/ Ammunition Examiner) and Soldier Tradesman Categories.

2. Candidates who have access to the internet can register online on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 07 Oct 2018 to 05 Nov 2018. For those candidates who have applied online the admit card will be issued online after 10 Nov 2018. Candidates Should bring their admit card and documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site. Print out of admitting card can be taken after 10 Nov 2018 from www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

3. Candidates who don't have access to the internet can get themselves registered at the rally site, candidates should bring all the documents as mentioned below

1. Qualification: SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above. However, a minimum of 33% in each subject required in SSLC/ Matric.

3. Physical Measurement:
a) Height - 155 cm
b) Weight - 50 Kgs
c) Chest - 77 Cms with 5 Cms Expansion

1. Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

2. Age Limit: 17½-23 Years

a) Height - 155 cm
b) Weight - 50 Kgs
c) Chest - 77 Cms with 5 Cms Expansion

1. Qualification:
- 8th Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce
- 10th Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood Work), Artisan (Metallurgy), Support Staff (ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass/ ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken class X Board Exam would be considered.

5. Documents Required

Candidates are advised to bring following documents in original on the day of a rally as per programme. The documents should be arranged properly in a sequence and contained in a file cover along with one set of Photostat copy of each duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his name and seal in English. Candidates are advised to check their certificate and Marks Sheet for mismatch of a name, Date of Birth, Parents name, School and other particulars in various certificates. All documents/ rubber stamps/ seals should be in ENGLISH. The following documents must be brought by the candidates:-
a) SSC Mark Sheet with marks obtained in Class X. (Certificate showing grades will not be accepted except for CBSE).
b) Intermediate Mark Sheet (XII) and Certificate, where applicable.
c) Degree Mark Sheet and Certificate, where applicable.
d) Candidates to produce latest automated Nativity, Community, and Date of Birth Certificate issued by District Administration of Andaman & Nicobar Gp of Islands in English. Any cutting/ alteration will not be accepted. (Residence Certificate holders are not allowed to participate in the rally).
e) Study and Conduct Certificate from the last education institute in English (Not more than six months old).
f) Character Certificate from Village Sarpanch/ Administrative Officer in English. (Not more than six months old).
g) Transfer certificate in original in ENGLISH.
h) NCC/ Sports/ ITI & Computer (O++ level) certificate, if held. NCC A/ B/ C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have the photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/ B/ C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.
j) In case of Non-Matric Candidates, Transfer Certificate signed by Headmaster/Principal of the school & countersigned by District Education Officer and Mark Sheet of the last examination appeared, duly affixed with school seal and attested by Headmaster. Seal and language should be in English.
k) Twenty latest colored 34mm x 45mm passport size photographs not taken earlier than three months with Name and Date of Birth printed on the bottom of photographs of the candidates. The photograph should be without facial hair (Beard) and preferably with a white colored background and plain/light colored shirt.
l) All candidates are requested to carry AADHAR card/AADHAR Number for “AADHAR Based Biometric Verification”.

6. Other Conditions

a) The candidates should be medically fit to join the Indian Army at the time of Rally.
b) For Candidates below the age of 21 years, Indian Army will enroll only unmarried candidates. In case any candidate below 21 yrs is married to the widow of the deceased brother and eligible for Instant Enrollment, a case for waiver will be considered by Rtg Dte.
c) Unmarried certificate:- Unmarried certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by the village sarpanch/ municipal corporation within last six months.
d) Tattoo/ Engraving:- Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of a hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and a candidate will be barred from further selection.
