Selection Procedure As per the recruitment process, Selection will be done on the basis of the Computer Based Test/ Offline Test (Objective or Subjective Examination)/ Personality Test/ Final Selection, etc.
1. Scheme of Examination (Screening Test) and Syllabus for the posts of Executive Officer and Secretary (Executive State Municipal Services) in Urban Local Bodies:- Objective type (MCQ) Screening Test of 2-hours duration consisting of 100 questions of one mark each with negative marking consisting of the following syllabus:-
History, Geography and socio-economic development of Himachal Pradesh - 30 marks.
Knowledge of current events of national and international importance and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject - 30 marks.
Modern History (from 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India and Disaster Management. Environment and Gender issues and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi - 25 marks.
2. Syllabus for the post of Manager (General) in H.P. General Industries Corporation Ltd:-
80 questions covering the essential qualification particularly focused on Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations of Labour Welfare Marketing Management.
10 questions consisting of General knowledge of H.P.
10 questions consisting of National/ International Affairs.
Fee's Details (non-refundable) Rs.400/- for General Category/ EWSs of H.P., Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ BPL/ EWSs of H.P. belonging to UR-BPL of H.P. category Fee exempted for Female/ Ex-Servicemen candidates, The Payment of Fees through Internet Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card etc. (as provided in the Online Application) will only be accepted.
