Gujarat PSC has announced recruitment notification for the post of Engineer, eligible candidates can submit their application before 31-12-2018.

The Candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or Bachelor of Technology (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government;

Provided that the candidate who has appeared at a degree examination, the passing of which would render him educationally qualified for the Examination mentioned in sub-rule 1, but the result is not declared, shall also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination.

All candidates who are declared qualified by the commission for appearing in the Main Examination shall be required to produce proof of passing the degree examination along with their application for the Main Examination. The candidate who fails to produce proof of passing the degree examination shall not be eligible for admission to Main Examination.
Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Candidates of General Category have to pay Rs.100/- as Application fee.
While candidates of Ex-serviceman, Reserved Category of Gujarat State & candidates who are physically disabled have not to pay an application fee.
While candidates of Reserved Category of Other States have to apply in an unreserved category and have to pay an application fee.
The payment of Fees through Internet Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card etc. (as provided in the Online Application) will only be accepted.

Opening Date for Online Registration of Applications:- 15-12-2018 (1300 hours).
Last Date for submission of Online Application:- 31-12-2018 (1300 hours).
Last Date for Online payment of Application Fee:- 15-12-2018 to 31-12-2018 (1300 hours).
Tentative Date for P.T:- 14-04-2019
Tentative month for P.T Result:- June 2019
Tentative month for Mains Exam:- 22, 28 and 29, September 2019
Tentative month for Mains Exam Result:- November 2019
Tentative month for Interview:- December 2019
The final result will be published during 10 working days after the last date of the interview.
