BHEL, Power Sector is looking for experienced engineers in
Safety discipline (FTA-Safety Officers) to be engaged purely on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of one / two years for their Region’s respective Project Sites as shown below:-

Educational Qualification & Work Experience
- Qualification:- Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical or Electrical or Civil or Production or Industrial Engineering from recognized Indian University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for General/ OBC and 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.
WITH
Minimum 1-year full-time Diploma in Industrial Safety from DGFASLI approved institutions namely Regional Labour Institute/ Central Labour Institute (OR) Post Graduate degree in Industrial Safety from National Institute of Technology (NIT) (OR) Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (NITIE-Mumbai).
- Work Experience:- Minimum of 2 Years post qualification experience (preferably in a construction site). (Post Qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired a degree in Engineering).
Selection Process
For consideration, eligible candidates will be invited for Personal Interview in the ratio up to 1:10 to the number of vacancies. In case of receipt of more no. of eligible applications beyond the ratio of 1:10, shortlisted for interview will be done in the ratio 1:10 on the basis of qualifying marks in the Safety degree/ diploma.
Application Fee
All candidates are required to pay a Non-Refundable Processing Fee of
Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) by means of a
Bank DD drawn in favor of
BHEL, PSSR payable at Chennai. Candidates are advised to write their name and post applied for and Application No. on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
However, SC/ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee, but will still be required to send their application form to the address mentioned below.
