BARC has announced recruitment notification for the post of Driver cum Pump Operator cum Fireman, eligible candidates can submit their application before 24-05-2019.
Qualification
HSC, Intermediate (12th standard), Science with Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks + valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum 1-year driving experience + Certificate Course in Fire Fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguisher, etc. from the State Fire Training Centres.

Selection Procedure
The selection process involves Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test and Written Test in 2 stages. Those qualified in the Physical Endurance Test will only be allowed for a written test. There will be negative marking for the written test.
Physical Standards
- No deformity
- Height:- 165 Cms. Minimum
- Weight:- 50 Kgs. Minimum
- Chest:- 81 Cms. Normal
- Chest:- 86 Cms. Expansion
- Vision:- 6/6, without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night blindness shall be a disqualification.
How to Apply
- The application should be submitted in the proforma given.
- The application and the outer cover should be superscribed as "Application for the post of Driver-cum Pump Operator-cum-Fireman/A against Advertisement No. BARC/MYS/01/2019".
- Candidates must fill the application forms in Capital Letters in his own handwriting in English or Hindi.
- A recent size photograph should be affixed on the right-hand top corner of the application. One additional copy of the passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application.
- Candidates should submit a self-attested copy of the following certificates along with their application:-
- SSC – For age proof
- HSC
- Certificate course in Fire Fighting Equipments from State Fire Training Centres
- Heavy Vehicle Driving License
- Experience Certificate
- Applications which are not in conformity with the requirement as indicated above will be strictly rejected.
