Essential Qualifications and Experiences for the Posts are as under

Name of the Post	Qualifications & Experience
Professor	For medical Candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject. AND/OR M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical Super-specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized Course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ii) Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. For Non-medical Candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master degree in the discipline/allied subject. ii) A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in concerned discipline. iii) Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.
Additional Professor	For medical Candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject. AND/OR M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical Super-specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized Course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ii) Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. For Non-medical Candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master degree in the discipline/allied subject. ii) A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in concerned discipline. iii) Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.
Senior Resident	A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) or Equivalent in respective discipline from recognized University/ Institute as provided under the Residency Scheme. All the terms and conditions of the Residency Scheme will be applicable.
Tutor	MBBS or M.Sc in Human Anatomy/ Medical Physiology/ Medical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Medical Pharmacology/ Pharmacology from recognized University/ Institute.

Age Limit

Professor/ Additional Professor:- Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.
Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor:- Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.
Senior Resident:- Not exceeding 37 (Thirty-Seven) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.
Tutor:- Not exceeding 30 (Thirty) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.

Application Fee

Selection Procedure

Based on bio-data, the Screening Committee may short-list candidates for interview.
Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview.
Interviews will be held at AIIMS Bhubaneswar or any other place as decided by the Director, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. No TA/ DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
