O/o The Cheif Postmaster General, Tamilnadu Postal Circle, Chennai - 600002. This is a notification regarding Competitive examination restricted to GDS for filling up the MTS - 86 Vacancies under 25% quota among GDS of the recruiting division and for the 25% quota among GDS of the recruiting division for joining Army Postal Service as Sepoy/ Packer for the year 2017-18. The examination will be held on 19th September 2018.

Selection Procedure:-
A common merit list will be prepared for both the APS and Non-APS categories for each Division/ unit. The candidates ranking higher in the merit list will be considered for the vacancies in Non-APS and for APS, based on the willingness of the candidates and availability of vacancies.
Venue of Examination:- The examination will be held at all Regional Head Quarters of the Circle i.e. Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, and if need be in other Centres, with the approval of competent authority.

- Last date of receipt of applications at Divisional Office: 20th August 2018
- Last date for receipt of applications at Regional Office and finalization of permitting the candidates at R.O: 24th August 2018
- Last date for sending a permitted list of candidates to C.O by R.O: 3rd September 2018
- The issue of Admit card to the permitted candidates: 5th September 2018
- Date of Examination: 16th September 2018 from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M.
