UPSC has announced recruitment notification for the post of Engineering Services Examination, eligible candidates can submit their application before 22-10-2018.
Application Fee
(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b) No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
Plan of Examination
1. The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:-i) Stage-I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/ Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II: Engineering Services (Main/ Stage-II) Examination;
ii) Stage-II: Engineering Services (Main/ Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers) and
iii) Stage-III: Personality Test.
How to Apply
- Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions are given in Appendix-IIA. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above-mentioned website.
- The Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of Application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. In this regard, Instructions are mentioned in the advertisement.
- Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test.
