Eligibility Conditions
Constables(GD), Head Constables(GD) and ASI(GD) will be eligible to appear in the said LDCE. Tradesmen, who meet QRs of SI/ LDCE, are also eligible to appear in SI/ LDCE.
a) Service Eligibility:- They should have completed four years of service, including basic training.
b) Clean Record:- They should have maintained minimum Good APARs grading of the last four years and should have an "unblemished clean record of entire service until the issue of offer of appointment".
c) Physical Standards:- As applicable to SI/DE candidates. The Physical standards of SIDE) candidates are asunder,

Physical Measurements For Male/ Female Candidates
1. Height Required
- For Male Candidates: 170 Cm
- For Female Candidates: 157 Cm

2. Chest Required Only For Male Candidate
- 80 Cm (Un Expanded)
- 85 Cm (Expanded)

Examination Center
Applications are forwarded to the following centers. The candidates who are attached to different places should dispatch their applications through their parent Units/ HQs mentioned below.
Convers containing the Application must be superscribed in a bold letter "Application For The Post Of Sub Inspector (GD) Through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2018-19", and Center of examination with Center Code.

Check List
Candidates to verify the following before submitting the application to avoid rejection:-
a) Application form and admit card in a correct format, duly signed and filled all the columns correctly and no column has been left blank. Two latest identical passport size photographs in uniform (pasted one each on an application form and admit card duly attested by a Gazetted Officer).
b) Service certificate (signed by Head of Office/ appointing authority) on prescribed format.
c) Undertaking from a candidate as per proforma attached.
d) Matriculation or equivalent/ 10+2 or Intermediate pass certificate to determine a date of birth.
e) Formal graduation degree certificate with year-wise mark sheets separately issued from a recognized University. If a formal graduation degree certificate not received, a provisional degree certificate issued by the University concerned may also be considered.
f) SC/ ST category certificate (in the prescribed format issued by the Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar.)
g) Copy of certificate in support of the claim for relaxation in Physical standards.
