- Candidates must have passed BVSc or BVSc & AH degree from a recognized Indian University
- Candidates should have a valid registration in the Veterinary Council of India (as per Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984).
- Candidate must have passed the Tamil Language in SSLC/ 10th examination.
- The applicant should be born on or after 05/09/1960
- Applicants on whom criminal/ judicial proceedings are pending are ineligible.
- Veterinarians dismissed or removed from service from any Government department are ineligible to apply.
