Posts and Educational Qualification

Minimum Norms for Recruitment of Sportspersons
1. Level 5 with Pay Rs 29,200/-:-(Grade Pay Rs 2,800/- in PayBand Rs 5200-20200 in 6thCPC)
Represented the Country in Olympics Games (Senior Category)
ORAt least 3rd position in any of the following:-i) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
ii) World Championships(Junior/Senior Category),
iii) Asian Games(Senior Category),
iv) Common Wealth Games(Senior Category)
2. Level 2 with Pay Rs 19,900/-(Grade Pay Rs 1,900/- in PayBand Rs 5200-20200 in 6thCPC)
Represented the country in any of the following:-
i) World cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
ii) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category),
iii) Asian Games (Senior Category),
iv) Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)
ORAt least 3rd Position in any of the following:-i) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category),
ii) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
iii) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category),
iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
ORAt least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.
ORAt least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
ORAt least 3rd Position in All India Inter-University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category)
Application Fee
- A fee of Rs 500/- must be paid only through Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of FA&CAO/ ICF payable at Chennai.
- Rs 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes, which will be refunded to those who actually appear for the selection.
- While applying, the candidates claiming fee exemption must submit necessary certificates i.e. SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen, in the format as prescribed in the Central Government order.
- If proof is not enclosed such candidates will be considered as Unreserved candidates, subject to payment of Rs 500/- towards the fee.
- Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Orders should have been issued on or after the date of issue of this Employment Notification.
