Sainik School is located in the palace of the erstwhile Maharaja of Kapurthala. The palace was built in 1908 on the pattern of Versailles built by Louis- the xiv of France. The Jagatjit palace at present houses Sainik School, Kapurthala (total area measuring 1961 kanals and 18 marlas).Sainik School Kapurthala was inaugurated on 8th July 1961 by the then Defence Minister V.K.Krishna Menon, with the objective of preparing boys academically, physically and mentally to join NDA.


Essential Qualification
(a) Graduate with Botany and Zoology (either honors or subsidiary level)
(b) BEd from a recognized University.
(c) Qualified in CTET/STET conducted by Central / State Govt.

Desirable Qualification
(a) Two years or more teaching experience in English Medium School CBSE Affiliated school, preferably residential.
(b) High qualifications with computer knowledge.
(c) Achievements in NCC/ Sports/ Extracurricular activities.

Pay Scale: Rs 9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs 4,600/-


Essential Qualification
(a) Matric
(b) Typing speed 40 words per minute in computer

Desirable Qualification
Graduate in any discipline. Knowledge of handling computers and MS Office.
Preference will be given to experience holders. Knowledge of handling stores and ability to correspond in English & Shorthand will be considered as an additional qualification.

Pay Scale: Rs 5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs 1,900/-

Interested candidates are to apply as per format is given in school website www.sskapurthala.com along with a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) drawn in favor of Principal, Sainik School, payable at Kapurthala by 10 August 18.

Only shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for written test and interview. The shortlisted candidates have to attend the written test/ interview at their own expense repeat own expense.
