According to Home Ministry report- Naxalite Engaged in Creating a New Stronghold of Terror

Intelligence reports shared with the Home Ministry have revealed that the Naxalites are busy making their new bastion. Naxalites are separating from Chhattisgarh's Bastar and Dandakaranya and are busy preparing new Naxal zones in the forests of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. These zones are being built at Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh and Gondiya in Maharashtra.

According to the intelligence report, 25 Naxal commanders are involved in activating this Red Corridor. It also includes the dangerous Naxal commander, Hidma.
